XBOX360 Playtesting
After more Reviewers have made comments about the game, I decided to work on that code a little today.
I also decided to playtest someone elses games, 2 of them. Color and Murphid. Color kept crashing, I informed the author, and Murphid worked great. I commented on both, since it was just a playtest, I did no full review work, but I ended up doing a little bit for Murphid.
Murphid made me want better Menu’s for SudokuGeek. I had decided that the game is the point, and that Menu’s just need to deliver the game. But something highly polished in how Murphid’s design works. One Advantage that Murphid used, was to specify the resolution rather than work with all resolutions of TV”s. In doing that, they saved themselves probably 3 additional weeks. Much of my feedback has been on sizing of certain elements on HDTV’s, and SDTV’s lower resolutions. Also they have about 4 people doing work on the project.
Today was to be a learning day for iPhone development. glFont is taking a long time, and making my own will take a while also. To many decisions.
